DESCRIPTION:Wood Heat 2023\, the 6th such two-day gathering\, will give you the knowledge and contacts to make the most of the opportunities still to be found in the UK biomass energy sector – we’re expecting a strong turnout from across the industry so get involved and support us. \nA number of Biomass Connect staff will be at the event. Project Lead Jeanette Whitaker from the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (UKCEH) will be speaking at this event and representing Biomass Connect. \nDon’t miss Session 5\, titled “Innovations in Domestic Biomass Feedstock Production”. This is presented by a number of people associated in one way or another with Biomass Connect: \n\nGill Alker – AMP Clean Energy\nKevin Lindegaard – Envirocrops\nWilliam Macalpine – Rothamsted Research\nJamie Rickerby – Willow Energy\nWilliam Cracroft-Eley – Terravesta\n\nThis will be the first in-person Wood Heat Conference since the pandemic and an opportunity to get the entire UK industry together under one roof. As ever\, there is a packed agenda planned. The conference is a platform where the industry can gather to network\, share ideas and experiences\, discuss some of the challenges we are facing\, and look to the year ahead.
