DESCRIPTION:Booking is now open for this year’s Early Career Researchers’ (ECR) Net Zero Conference taking place on 27 and 28 February at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre. \nRegister for your place here. \nLed by UKCCSRC and supported by the Supergen Bioenergy Hub together with a whole host of organisations working across the net-zero space (C-DICE\, CO2RE\, EDI+\, EDRC\, ERA\, IDRIC\, IGNITE+\, HI-ACT\, SUSTAIN\, UKERC and UK-HyRES)*\, this event builds on the success of last year’s conference in Manchester. \nThe conference will provide an opportunity for ECRs to: \n\nmeet and network with peers from different research organisations\ngain knowledge and skills on a range of topics related to net zero\nbuild a more collaborative\, multidisciplinary community.\n\nA networking dinner will take place on 27 February and there will be an opportunity for ECRs to showcase their research and win a monetary prize. \nOur own SHARE (network for ECRs) committee members will be running the parallel session on the cost of net zero\, taking place on day 2 (28 February) from 9.30-11am. \nThe conference is free to attend and will take place in-person with a hybrid option available for sessions taking place in the main room.
