SUMMARY:New Energy Farms Open Day
DESCRIPTION:NEF are holding a number of Open Days in 2024 to showcase the TEMPEC project\, \nTechnologies to Enhance the Multiplication and Propagation of Energy Crops\, which is part of the UK Governments’ Biomass Innovation Programme. \nThe Project is exploring the yield potential of a range of high yielding energy grasses\, which include Miscanthus and other Energycanes\, and demonstrating new systems to plant these crops based on NEF’s synthetic seed technology (CEEDS).\nThese Open Days are the first opportunity for the biomass industry to view these exciting new studies which include \n\nDemonstration plots of new varieties of Miscanthus and other potentially exciting Energycanes for the UK.\nNEF synthetic seeds (CEEDS ) and planters for establishing these crops.\nWork on the restoration of wetlands (Paludiculture) and contaminated land using high biomass crops\nAn impressive range of end uses for biomass\, some of which are well known\, but also some exciting new opportunities.\n\nThe Open Days will be of interest to farmers\, biomass processers\, end users of biomass feedstock and anyone with an interest in low carbon initiatives.\nOn the day you will learn about the benefits of high biomass grasses and their role in mitigating climate change\, new technologies developed in the TEMPEC project\, plus the new market opportunities and the financial benefits of growing these versatile regenerative agricultural crops. \nOpen Day Dates\n\n\nTaunton: 19th September\, 26th September\, 17th October\, 22nd October\nWadebridge: 25th September\, 24th October\nIsle of Wight: 23rd September\nDarlington: 8th October\n\n\n\nRegister Here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/new-energy-farms-open-day-taunton-tickets-959354564327 \nContact details:\nNew Energy Farms EU Limited\, 1 Cedar House\, Marlborough\, Wiltshire\, SN81NY\nUK Email: sales@newenergyfarms.com
