DESCRIPTION:Following the success of the Anglian Agroforestry Open Weekend each year since 2021\, Agroforestry Open Weekend will be back in 2025 \nFriday 16 – Monday 19 May 2025\nIt’s a great opportunity for other farmers\, campaigners\, politicians\, environmentalists and anyone else interested to have a look at agroforestry in action! \nIn 2021\, we had 6 farms participating; in 2024 we had 50\, across the UK\, Ireland and beyond. \nEach of those farms was open and welcoming visitors for some part of the weekend \nThere will be more information about the 2025 event here soon . But\, meanwhile\, anyone with an area of agroforestry planting who would like to join in – see the information here about what’s involved and get in touch with us via info@agroforestryopenweekend.org

SUMMARY:Taeda Tech - Forestry Crops & Miscanthus
DESCRIPTION:The Taeda Tech Project has been a 3 year project funded by the government’s £1 billion Net Zero Innovation Portfolio\, which looks to accelerate the commercialisation of low-carbon technologies and systems. \nThe project has primarily been focused on the growing of Short Rotation Coppice (SRC) Willow in our innovative aeroponic greenhouse and polytunnel systems. \nAs this section of the project draws toward a close\, the Taeda team will present the results of their work in a series of webinars. The first of these\, an overview of the project as a whole from our project lead Dr Zoe M.
