Presentation: Crops to Products

Slides from a recent Biomass Connect presentation by Jeanette Whitaker from the UK Centre for Ecology and Hydrology. The presentation shows a selection of biomass crops that have multiple benefits and uses. It lists the many current and future uses of these crops not only for energy production but also for physical products such as animal bedding, pharmaceuticals and construction materials. The slides then show the environmental uses of biomass crops such as wastewater management along with the positive and negative effects that growing perennial biomass crops can have on the environment.
