Hub Site Update – AFBI Hillsborough – January 2023

• Risk Assessments for grazing, browsing and crop damage threats were undertaken.
• Planning to spray Near and Far White Hill with glyphosate in 2 weeks time to kill the grass sward (if weather conditions allow and there is a good spray window).
• This will be followed by cultivation 14 days after that, apart from the SRF demo site. Enough time will be left to allow the glyphosate concentrations to reduce to sufficiently low levels to plant the bare root tree stock.
