June 2023 -Hub Site Update
- Like many of the Hub sites hosting the Biomass Connect sites, June has been very dry.
- Overall, the site was relatively weed free. This was most likely due to the ongoing drought-like conditions that were being experienced across the country in June.
- There was evidence of growth across the varieties planted, however, it was very stunted by the lack of water.
- This site was the last to be planted up due to, ironically, it being too wet in the spring months.
- A weather station is to be installed.

- SRF Eucalyptus looked to be establishing well despite lack of rain

- Some Black locust ‘Turbo’ doing well, others yet to emerge.

- SRC Willow emerging. Some gaps noted though.
