Biomass Connect had a good couple of days at Cereals, the Arable show in Nottinghamshire. The heat was definitely on with sweltering temperatures and blazing sunshine for the entire show. With three of us manning the stand there was plenty of time to talk to interested individuals, businesses and organisations and time to stroll around the packed showground too. This gave us an opportunity to talk to those manning other relevant stands and make some new connections. Diversification was a hot topic and biomass crops can be an important part of that process.
The show itself was a hive of activity with demo crop plots, machinery displays, talks in the marquees, a 4×4 driving track, robotic farm machinery, hundreds of stands and much much more. It was great to connect with everyone and if you missed it, look out for Biomass Connect at the following major shows:
- The Royal Welsh Agricultural Show – Llanelwedd on 24th-27th July
- The Agroforestry Show – nr. Swindon on 6th & 7th September
